Totus Tuus is a program for youth dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people (grades 1st – 12th) grow in their understanding of the faith and love for Jesus and His Church.

Totus Tuus is led by a 4 person team of college students, two men and two women. If possible, we try to put one seminarian on each team. Each team goes through an intensive two-week training.  They are present at all weekend Masses prior to the week to promote attendance.

There are five essential elements to the Totus Tuus program:

  1. Exploring faith through the Gospels

  2. Why we believe what we believe

  3. Being a living Christian witness

  4. Celebrating the Sacraments — especially Mass and Reconciliation

  5. Mission of the Church

From each parish or parish cluster we ask:

  1. $1,600 for the team plus nominal expenses for supplies,

  2. Two host families (One for men, One for women) from Saturday – Friday,

  3. Priest to assist with:  * Mass and Confession at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, * Adoration and Confession at 8 p.m. Tuesday,

  4. Three to four volunteers to provide basic assistance,

  5. The Totus Tuus program runs from Sunday evening until Friday noon.

If your parish would like to have the Totus Tuus program in the summer of 2018, please contact the Vocation Office at 320-251-5001 to schedule a week in June or July.

Thank you!
